Soft Cotton Face Towels

A face towel gets used on the thinnest skin you have, twice a day, which is reason enough not to use whatever is nearest. These are woven from soft cotton at a gentler weight than a bath towel, so they lift water without dragging, and they are small enough to wash often and dry fast. Put them by a basin where a full-size towel is doing a job it was never really sized for.

For a hot flannel at night, run one under warm water and lay it over your face for a minute. It is a small, cheap ritual that ends a long day better than most things that cost more.

Machine wash warm and tumble dry on low. Skip fabric softener so the cotton stays absorbent and gentle.
